The main objectives of this mindfulness workshop are to:
Help you understand theoretical and practical concepts regarding mindfulness training
Help you learn basic mindfulness techniques that you can practice every day
Provide you with practical tools for effective stress management in the workplace
Introduce you to contemplative practices that can: increase self-awareness, provide focus, strengthen interpersonal skills, and assist you in your current career or job search.
The workshop is designed for managers and employees from all backgrounds, ages, and levels of experience with basic or little previous knowledge of the concept of mindfulness and contemplative practices.
This 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course will take place over eight evenings from 6:30 to 9:00pm (CET), and a day of Mindfulness on a Saturday or a Sunday from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
This highly interactive course will be taught by MBSR teacher, Anne Randerson, Ph.D., who completed her MBSR Teacher training and Practicum at the UCSD Center for Mindfulness in 2017.
Important information to consider before registering for the course:
It is important to attend all course sessions, including the Day of Mindfulness.
A commitment to MBSR meditation practice of at least 45 minutes daily for the duration of the course is essential. This mindfulness practice is what will enable you to completely benefit from the course.
In addition to meditation practice, home assignments will be given for each session.

Dr. Anne Randerson is a coach, trainer, consultant, and mindfulness teacher. In 2007, she founded Cross Cultural Horizons in Brussels, Belgium. In 2003, after conducting six years of research in Japan on human sensitivity, comparative religions, and cross-cultural communication, Anne completed her PhD degree in Human Life Studies from Koriyama Women's University. In 2016, she began her mindfulness training with the University of California at San Diego, and has obtained three certificates in mindfulness training in addition to completing the UCSD Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Teacher Training. Anne believes that practicing contemplative practices, such as mindfulness, is beneficial for everyone, especially in the workplace. Through her gentle, experienced guidance, Anne makes it easier for people to identify their personal resources to become more resilient and balanced in their lives and careers.
